Start editing your profile

When you log in, you'll immediately be transported to your profile. To start editing, just press the pencil icon on the bottom right corner. Your profile will expand out into panels. Simply click on the panel containing the information you want to change to get started

Change or remove your profile image

When editing is enabled, start by clicking on the profile image panel (the one that contains your current image). In the section that opens, you'll see a tile with a preview image and two buttons below it

To replace the image, press the replace button right adjacent to the preview image. Once you select an image from your device, the new image will show up in the preview. To save changes, just press the green check that appears and wait for the button to finish processing before leaving the section. The same steps can be used to delete your profile image from our servers, except this time you press the delete button left adjacent to the preview

To change the shape, simply scroll through the list of options and press which ever one you want. Changing shape does not require saving

Change the color and theme of your profile

When editing is enabled, start by clicking on the color panel (the one that contains a three-shade palette). In the section that opens, you'll see multiple methods to select a new color

To use a color picker, just press the pick button to get started. Below the pick button is hex color input for typing in a hex code. Below that, you can press "Generate from my profile image" to get a range of options generated from your profile image. Once loaded, simply press on a color to select that color. To save your new choice from any of the three options, press the green check mark

To change your profile's theme, simply scroll to the bottom of the color section. Click anywhere on the day/time switcher to toggle between light and dark mode. Changing your theme does not require saving

Change your name or bio

When editing is enabled, start by clicking on the name and bio panel (the one that contains your name). In the section that opens, you'll see two text inputs. The first is for your name and the second is your bio. You won't be able to save unless both inputs are filled out. Make the changes you would like and then press the green check mark below the two inputs to save

Add a link to your connections

When editing is enabled, start by clicking on the connections panel (the panel located furthest from the top). In the section that opens, click the "New connection" button at the top. A section will open from the bottom

To add the link, make sure the link tab is highlighted in white. Next, insert the connection's title in the first text input below the tab. In the second input, add the URL for the link of your choice. If Hydrin recognizes the link, we'll display the platform icon, name, and color in the section below the URL input. You can see all the supported platforms by clicking "All supported platforms." Once you're ready to add the connection, press the green check mark in the bottom right of the screen

Add a text layout to your connections

When editing is enabled, start by clicking on the connections panel (the panel located furthest from the top). In the section that opens, click the "New connection" button at the top. A section will open from the bottom

To add the text connection, make sure the text tab is highlighted in white. Next, insert the connection's title in the first text input below the tab. Below you'll see the layout editor and the action bar which contains the add and delete buttons. If the action bar does not appear, try scrolling to the bottom of the section. Press Add to add an element to the layout. You can choose from headings, basic text, images, and links. Click on one to get started

For headings and text, click on the element to start typing. You'll know the element is ready to type if the background is highlighted. When the element is in the typing state, you cannot reorder it. To stop typing, simply press a different element or anywhere else on the screen

For images, click on "Choose image" and select the image of your choice from your device. Once selected, you will briefly see an uploading message above the image. This will automatically disappear once the upload is complete. When the image is uploading, you cannot reorder it in the text layout

Finally, for links, click to start typing in the element. The first text input is where you will place your desired URL and the second is where you will enter the title for that link. The title makes it easier for a user to know what they're clicking on. Just like text and headings, to stop typing, simply press a different element or anywhere else on the screen

To reorder an element in the layout, just press, hold, and drag the element to its new position. If the desired position is above or below your current position on the screen, continue dragging but hover your cursor or finger over to the top or bottom arrow icons and hold it there until the page has scrolled to where you need it

To delete an element, you'll need to enable delete mode. When delete mode is engaged, you will see the button turn red. Now, every item you press will instantly be deleted. Please be warned that delete mode will not automatically disengage, so be sure to disable it before making edits that do not involve deleting elements

Once you're all finished, you'll see a green check mark appear next to the delete button in the action bar. Press it, wait for it to process, and your connection will be added

Reordering your connections

When editing is enabled, start by clicking on the connections panel (the panel located furthest from the top). In the section that opens, you'll see a list of all the connections you have added. If you do not see any, it probably means you have not added a connection yet. From the list, reordering is very straightforward. Simply press, hold, and drag the connection you would like to reorder to a new placement in the list. If the desired placement is above or below your current position on the screen, continue dragging but hover your cursor or finger over to the top or bottom arrow icons and hold it there until the page has scrolled to where you need it. That's it! No saving necessary

Editing text connections after adding them

With your connections section open, start by selecting the text connection you wish to edit. A new section will appear

To change the title, find the first text input below the preview of your connection and its corresponding buttons. Edit the text and press the green check mark that appears

To edit the text layout, you can use the same instructions provided in adding the connection in first place—the controls will be identical. Once finished, press the green check in the action panel and you're all set

Share your connection

With your connections section open, start by selecting the text connection you wish to share. A new section will appear

To get the connection's share links, press the share button left adjacent to the preview of your connection and the delete button. A menu will open. If this is for a link connection, two options will appear; only one will appear for text connections. Press the link option you want and it will be automatically copied to your clipboard

Editing link connections after adding them

With your connections section open, start by selecting the link connection you wish to edit. A new section will appear

To change the title, find the first text input below the preview of your connection and its corresponding buttons. Enter your new title thereTo change the URL, enter your new URL in the text input below the title. Once you are done editing, press the green check mark that appears

Get analytics for a connection

With your connections section open, start by selecting the connection you wish to edit. A new section will appear

For link connections, analytics will be open automatically. For text connections, press the "Analytics" tab next to "Content" to show analytics. Initially, we will show you your connection's performance for the current calendar day. Scroll down to see a graph and more useful information. You can click or hover over a point on the graph to get exact metrics. At the top of the anaytics section, the first date is the starting point on the timeline and the second is the ending point of the data you are viewing. To change either, click on them and pick a new date. When you're ready to refresh the results, just press "Update"

Delete a connection

With your connections section open, start by selecting the connection you wish to edit. A new section will appear

Locate the delete button situated right adjacent to the connection preview and the share button. Press it, and then press "Yes, delete" in the promt that follows. That's it!

Share your profile

On your main profile screen, press the share button located in the bottom right next to the edit button. A menu will open with an option for a link or embed code. Click the option you want and it will be copied to your clipboard

Get account options

On your main profile screen, press the account button (the one with your profile image) located in the bottom right next to the edit button. A menu will open with multiple options including settings, logging out, returning back to this help page, and quickly navigating to Dive Tap, another Dive service you may use

Change your password

With your settings section open, start by clicking on "Change password." A new section will appear below the button. In the input directly below the button, enter your current password. In the second input, enter the password you want to change it to, and then enter that same new password again in the third input. You'll notice a small dial at the bottom with a number indicated on it. It has no effect on your password and is there only to help you make a secure one! When you're ready to save the changes, press the green check and wait for the section to close

Delete your own account

For various reasons, you might want to delete your Dive account. With your settings section open, start by clicking on "Delete account." The button should be directly below the "Suspend account" button. A new section will appear below the button

To proceed with the deletion, enter your full email in the text input directly below the button. Then, enter your password in the input below your email. Finally, press the green check mark. We hope to see you on Dive again soon!

Clear remember me from all your devices

With your settings section open, start by clicking on "Clear remember me from all devices." The button should be directly below the "Midnight mode" button. A promt will ask you if you are sure about this action. To proceed, press "Clear it!"

Activate or deactivate Midnight Mode

With your settings section open, start by clicking on "Midnight Mode." The button should be directly below the "Change password" button. A new section will appear below the button

To toggle between on and off, just click anywhere in the section containing a flashlight and the words "Off" and "On". The current state will be marked with a white background. Also, if Midnight Mode is one, you will see the word "On" located in the initial button you pressed

Suspend your own account

For security, you might want to suspend your account. With your settings section open, start by clicking on "Suspend account." The button should be directly below the "Clear remember me from all devices" button. A new section will appear below the button

To proceed with the suspension, enter your full email in the text input directly below the button. Then, press the green check mark
